THE PROCESS I was commissioned by Resident Advisor and London-based visual artist Mungo to score his self-produced video game, 'Mungo Run'. Set in a mazy underground club, the game needed a soundtrack that could square the dynamics of modern bass music with the lo-fi charm of an NES theme. I adapted 'Outland', an original track of my own, bitcrushing and otherwise distorting the bassline, drums, and synths to combine its 90 BPM bounce with a throwback arcade feeling.
